  personality.    Who Nori appears to be upon meeting him would depend entirely on the context of the meeting. He may be a charming 'lost boy' who worms his way into your heart and bed. Or he may be a calculating criminal who is bidding against you or luring you into a fight (or a trap). Perhaps he's exactly the well mannered, pampered playboy he claimed to be when you met him and he took an interest in the magitek you offered for sale.Arrogant, insatiably curious, charming and unabashedly flirtatious, Nori's demeanor is as mercurial as his temper and for most who meet him this superficial facade he's created will be all they ever see. Which of his well-practiced personas he'll use will depend, but who he is beneath the act... they may never discover.

  history.   Born into a Kugane brothel without a tribe or name, Nori spent his first 30 years learning from courtesans who became his surrogate family. He joined the business for a short time but found his interests extended beyond the brothel walls. He found the lure of magitek irresistible and stole what couldn’t be purchased. Self-taught, he spent most days tinkering in his attic room and most nights seducing the men or women of Kugane who might have information or at least gil to spend on his services.Mei Hu-Lin was a former pirate and bounty hunter who came to Kugane for a change of scenery, and to the brothel for a night without strings. Nori found her beautiful and fascinating. She told him stories of her adventures and the network she was building.A place with her crew was offered and he quickly accepted. Despite the warnings of his brothel family, Nori sailed with her when she left; he would have followed her anywhere. Months turned into years and he followed his queen from one illegal venture to the next. The poisons Mei gleefully mixed for others returned to make her relationship with Nori toxic. In a moment he would describe as self-preservation, he left her.Though he managed to leave her with a near fortune, Nori 'invested' in a number of causes in a hope to make right his mistakes. Very few know of his contributions or his past, he prefers to keep it that way.Currently he runs a shisha/moko hookah bar outside Limsa. Surfside Shisha and has renewed his love of botany. A master of levin aether, he's expanding his magic use into his lesser used skills, earth and wind magic. As the adventures of his youth have given way to the security and stability he seeks as he matures.

  Shisha   A wanderer no more, Nori has finally put down roots outside Limsa. His investment in property has turned him into a small business owner. Surfside Shisha, a moko bar with a prime location. He's always looking for contacts and new moko strains to sample.

  gardener   Entrusted with his adopted sister's massive garden, Nori's love of botany and plants has returned. Decades of disuse, his innate skill and the love of gardening he developed in his youth have returned en force. Trained in cross-breeding and enhancing a plant's natural properties, it's little wonder his moko strains are highly sought after.

  magitek   Nori's interest in Magitek began when he was a kit. Kugane was flooded with scavenged Garlean tech for him to experiment with and reverse-engineer. He specializes in finding new ways to use this older technology.

  electrope   Tural was a revelation to Nori, an entire lifetime spent chasing ceruleum and Garlean tech was made obsolete as he explored the New World. Desperate to secure electrope, he's making deals and making friends to ensure he can get what he needs to bring some of his engineering plans to life.

  the white rabbit   A decade ago a vigilante known as 'The White Rabbit' spearheaded the attack on a small crime family that had relocated from Kugane. Run by the vicious Mei Hu-Lin, the so called 'Sanguine Web' was never allowed to take a foothold in Gridania, eventually her 'partners' turned on Mei and she has since vanished.
